ACE celebrates Christmas and a successful year 2023
Carbon component manufacturer ACE's Christmas party last weekend was a great success. The event, which began at 19:00 with the welcome of the guests, provided the perfect setting to look back on an eventful year and provide an outlook on the exciting new features for 2024.
After a festive dinner and initial festivities, the managing director, Mr. Enz, came to the lectern at 21:00. In his speech, he highlighted the company's remarkable achievements in 2023. ACE had made a significant contribution to the production of various sports car models, including the Porsche anniversary model 992 S/T and the Lamborghini Revuelto.
In addition to participating in these prestigious projects, ACE was able to report impressive production figures. Last year, 45,000 tunnels for the Audi R8, 5,000 wing supports for the Porsche 992 GT3RS, 1000 roofs for the Lamborghini 636 Urus and parts for many other projects were manufactured. These were the largest annual quantities ever produced for ACE, of which the 300 employees from many countries around the world can be proud.
Mr. Enz also took the opportunity to give an outlook for the coming year. He announced exciting new features, including the introduction of e-bike leasing via Dasdienstrad.de, new German courses and the opportunity for loan workers to get permanent employment. At the same time, he addressed the challenges for the coming year, such as increasing the production volume of fenders for the Porsche GT4RS and CFRP window frames for the Airbus A350.
The speech ended with thanks to all employees and expressed the anticipation of the joint start to 2024. During the ceremony, two long-standing employees were also honored: An employee from maintenance and an employee from production planning celebrated their 10-year company anniversary.
ACE's mission statement, “We realize lightweight structures! “, was a central theme of the celebration and was proudly supported by the employees. After the speech, the evening ended in a relaxed atmosphere, with the joy of the successes of the past year and the expectations for the coming year 2024 being clearly noticeable.
