Welcome to ACE GmbH at Lake Constance
We implement lightweight construction developments - from their design, to their prototyping
and their serial production. On the basis of CAD models, we manufacture primary prototypes in
no time. Apart from our special field - advanced composites - we develop solutions involving
light metal as well as using the promising hybrid construction method (metal plus fibre composites).
The ACE management and development departments are located on the industrial premises of EADS
(formerly Dornier) in Immenstaad. That allows us to use the varied production plants and
laboratories on the entire grounds. Apart from the EADS location, we have our own production
facilities in Hagnau at Lake Constance.

The history of ACE GmbH
ACE GmbH originates from Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH and EADS Dornier GmbH.
With this background, we have extensive experience in the development of lightweight structures
for aviation and astronautics.
In 1994, when we were still a part of Dornier, we started applying our lightweight construction
know-how, mainly based on advanced composites, in the motor vehicle and mechanical engineering
sector. A few years later, in 1997, the first railway technology developments were made.
These business fields have successfully been continued and expanded by ACE GmbH since 2001.
