Development and series production of CFP/RTM rear bonnet for the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
In partnership with Lamborghini and their parent company Audi AG, ACE has developed a rear bonnet using CFP/RTM technology that will be in series by the end of this year. One special production challenge was creating a Class A surface quality along with the complex geometry of the part, such as the distinctive lamellas typical of Lamborghini. With CFP construction, we were able to realise a design impossible with metal construction and at the same time reduce weight by 30%.

Introduction of Press 8 with a 2500x3000 working area
In the middle of 2005, we launched the 1000to press with tool transfer system into operation. This machine allows the use of a single large tool, or alternatively, multiple smaller tools. The ability to work on two sides provides us with the opportunity to realise high efficiency and increased production capability.
